BioPrinting Winter School 2024 - Theoretical and hands-on sessions
Day 1: 3D (bio)printing technologies, from segmentation to G-code
-Introduction to the course
-General overview on 3D bioprinting
-Fundamentals of 3D printing
Day 2: Bio-ink and printability, Mechanical testing
-Development phases of bio-ink
-Printability evaluation of selected bio ink and mechanical testing
Day 3: Cells and read-out
-Design and development of an in vitro cellular model using mainly bioprinting techniques
-Imaging techniques of biological structures within the bio-ink
Day 4 and Day 5: Computational modelling and Scientific Workshop
Computational modeling to simulate (bio)printing process and to predict the mechanical response of (bio)printed structures. During the last day there will be the scientific workshop, “Bioengineering for the biofabrication”. The workshop will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
